Ron May: Business Systems and Administration Manager

NWIRC is pleased to announce that effective July 1st we have integrated eBizITPA’s IT Kickstart and Apprentice programs into the NWIRC range of direct services. Both organizations’ boards approved this action. Matthew Wilson of Deist Industries & Rick Carlotti of GE Transportation Systems have joined the NWIRC Board of Directors, and Ron May, former Executive Director of eBizITPA has joined our staff.

As Business Systems and Administration Manager, Ron will continue to manage the IT KickStart and Apprentice (Intern) grant programs as well as develop additional IT services. He can assist NWIRC region manufacturers with vendor and software package comparisons and selections, computer and information systems assessments, IT/Business needs analyses and project management. Ron comes to NWIRC with many years of experience in the IT field prior to managing eBizITPA and its programs, and has held numerous positions in Information Technology and Information Systems at GE, Zurn Industries, Lord Corporation and Rentway. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Pennsylvania State University. When not sitting in front of a computer, Ron plays trumpet in several local bands.
