Technology Career Development - Details

Positions will be labeled either intern or apprentice according to job content and graduation status.

Interns

Interns are active students pursuing a technology-related degree.

Duration:

  • 10 to 15 hrs/wk - Fall and Spring Sessions
  • 40 hrs/wk - Summer Session
  • Funding available to a maximum of 650 hours

Subsidized Rate:

  • 30% of the maximum allowable hourly rate
    • $10/hr. - Undergraduate Students
    • $15/hr. - Graduate Students

Apprentices

Apprentices are recent graduates who have earned a technology-related degree.

Duration:

  • 3 to 6 months
  • 40 hrs/wk (Excludes holiday, sick or vacation time)

Subsidized Rate:

  • 30% of the total compensation and benefits rate
    • Not to exceed $30/hr.
