What are the Funding Guidelines?

1. Funds must be used for the intended purpose outlined in the application.

2. Any funds granted for Market Research and Prototype project require 50% matching funds from the client. For example, if you spend $5000 on a market research study, then eBizITPA will grant you half of that amount not to exceed the amount granted above.

3. Funding for Beta Assistance is contingent upon the grant applicant having a revenue-producing beta site customer as specified in the application. Please send a signed and dated copy of the contract agreement between your organization and the beta site customer prior to submitting invoices.

4. Any labor contracted for assistance granted shall not be granted offshore (i.e. outside of the U.S.). Please contact eBizITPA if this is not the case.

5. It is eBizITPA’s preference that clients utilize Pennsylvania-based talent where possible. Please consider the use of college-based centers of excellence, faculty, interns or newly graduated apprentices when applicable.

What are the Invoicing Guidelines?

1. Invoices can be sent on an ongoing basis (e.g. monthly) over the project’s duration.

2. Invoices and supporting documentation can be emailed to amy.bridger@ebizitpa.org or they may be mailed to: 5340 Fryling Road, Erie, PA 16510. We prefer them to be emailed.

3. For labor costs, please list the employee/contractor name, the number of hours expended the labor rate, and the total costs.

Example: 11/1/07 through 11/30/07 Jane Doe – 56 hours at $15/hr = $840

4. For non-labor costs, please submit documentation of cost incurred (e.g. pdf docs).

5. Payment from eBizITPA will be made within 30 working days.

What are the Reporting Requirements?

1. Upon final completion of project, please forward documentation of total project costs to amy.bridger@ebizitpa.org or mailed to: 5340 Fryling Road, Erie, PA 16510.

2. Once the project is completed and documentation is received, your organization will be required to complete and submit a Project Summary. This summary will outline the economic benefits and new employment opportunities realized by your company as a result of your project. At the end of our fiscal year, you will also be sent a survey to quantify any additional impacts realized since the Project summary was completed. eBizITPA is reliant on continued funding from a variety of sources in order to provide our assistance. These reports greatly help in our continued success.

3. Client may also be asked to participate and provide data for periodic customer satisfaction and impact studies in the future.
