ERIE, PA – The Center for eBusiness & Advanced IT (eBizITPA) has launched  eBizeLearner.org, an eLearning system based on the GeoLearning platform, which provides access to online blending learning opportunities twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. 

“The convenience and efficiency of online learning enables already stretched staff and business owners to learn at a quick pace, on their own time, and at a reduced cost, without precious time and money spent on travel and meals outside of the office.” said Carrie Teetzel, Director of eLearning & Workforce projects for eBizITPA.  “eBizeLearner enables eBizITPA, and our partners, a way to offer technology-related training remotely in order to reach more people, more efficiently and effectively.”

eBizeLearner includes a multitude of blended-learning opportunities including recorded webinars, podcasts, tutorials and links to external tools and resources.  Initial content providers include eBizITPA and the eMarketing Learning Center.  The RFID Center of Excellence will soon have an Introduction to RFID self-paced course available. 

Creating an account on the eBizeLearner is free, and both free and fee content are available.

“Over the next six months, we plan to test and improve through feedback and evaluation and expanded offerings to get customers used to the online learning process.  We already have plans for a significant amount of additional content through partnerships with other economic development, education, and trade organizations.” concluded Teetzel.
