Sharon, PA –The 2010 Penn State Shenango Technology and Career Expo will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 31 in the Great Hall of Shenango campus' Sharon Hall. The event, which is being co-sponsored by the Technology Council of Northwestern Pennsylvania and Penn State Shenango's Information Sciences and Technology (IST) and Career Services departments, will provide technology training and education through seminars, keynote speakers, and product demonstrations.

Semi-finalists Named in Annual Business Plan Competition

ERIE, Pa. – January 20, 2010 – Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has announced 16 semi-finalists of the fifth annual Northwest Pennsylvania College Business Plan Competition. The semi-finalists include students from Penn State Behrend, Allegheny College and Mercyhurst College, and have been invited to submit full business plans for further consideration.

ERIE, PA – The Center for eBusiness & Advanced IT (eBizITPA) has launched  eBizeLearner.org, an eLearning system based on the GeoLearning platform, which provides access to online blending learning opportunities twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. 

ERIE, PA – Ron May has been appointed the new Executive Director for the Center for eBusiness & Advanced IT (eBizITPA).  The Board of Directors of eBizITPA announced their decision at their quarterly November 9 meeting. May has been serving as the Interim Executive Director for the organization since March, 2009.
