eBizITPA Welcomes New Staff Member
ERIE, PA (April 14, 2010) --- The Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT (eBizITPA) is proud to announce that Julia Eagles has joined the Center’s full-time staff as the grants writer/researcher for the entire center. Julia began the position on Tuesday, April 6, 2010.
“Julia is sure to be a valuable addition to our staff here at eBizITPA, the knowledge and experience that she brings to the center will increase our funding efforts tremendously,” said Ron May, Executive Director for eBizITPA.
Northwest PA College Business Plan Competition Winners Announced
ERIE, PA --- eBizITPA is proud to announce Calc Tech LLC, as the Fifth Annual Northwest PA College Business Plan Competition Winner. Business Plans presented on Saturday, April 10th included a new winery, metal forming design, mathematical software systems, Web site software, medical identification, archery, and transportation advertising businesses.
Penn State Shenango to Host Technology and Career Expo
Sharon, PA – The 2010 Penn State Shenango Technology and Career Expo will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 31 in the Great Hall of Shenango campus' Sharon Hall. The event, which is being co-sponsored by the Technology Council of Northwestern Pennsylvania and Penn State Shenango's Information Sciences and Technology (IST) and Career Services departments, will provide technology training and education through seminars, keynote speakers, and product demonstrations.

Semi-finalists Named in Annual Business Plan Competition
ERIE, Pa. – January 20, 2010 – Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has announced 16 semi-finalists of the fifth annual Northwest Pennsylvania College Business Plan Competition. The semi-finalists include students from Penn State Behrend, Allegheny College and Mercyhurst College, and have been invited to submit full business plans for further consideration.
