RFID Center of Excellence

The RFID Center of Excellence was established in early 2005 as a collaborative initiative with the Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT (eBizITPA) and Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.

The mission of the center is to conduct RFID research and outreach, resulting in strategic advantage and economic growth for industry. While the RFID Center is now a research and outreach center of Penn State Behrend, we continue to collaborate to bring relevant training to business and industry.

Used to track everything from Pepsi to people, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is changing the face of supply chain management. Small and medium-sized businesses have the opportunity to learn about the competitive advantage of RFID technology by participating in these RFID courses, presented by the RFID Center of Excellence
at Penn State Behrend. Course topics range from basic introductory
to advanced implementation.
