eBizITPA Appoints New Board Members

ERIE, PA (October 9^th, 2003) --- The Center for eBusiness and Advanced Information Technology (eBizITPA) has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors -- Jeffrey Parnell, Vice President/General Manager e-Commerce of Blair Corporation and David Pascale, Area Manager – Penelec. According to Susan Breon, President of eBizITPA, “Both of these regional business leaders have personal expertise and specific business commitment that can advance the Center’s mission to help Pennsylvania businesses use technology to be more competitive.”

Parnell leads strategic e-commerce activities at Blair Corporation, a publicly traded direct marketer headquartered in Warren PA. A 20-year veteran of the catalog industry, he has been instrumental in developing the companies online catalog store, Blair.com.

As the Penelec area manager responsible for Northwest Pennsylvania, Pascale is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction among large industrial customers and interacting with Economic Development Agencies, officials and professionals to promote the benefits of locating/expanding in our region.
