Frank DeWolf
Chief Operating Officer, Center for eBusiness and
Advanced IT Director
RFID Research Center at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College
Frank DeWolf is the chief operating officer at eBizITPA where he leads the RFID
research and education initiatives. He is also a faculty member at Penn State
Behrend where he directs the RFID Research Center.
Prior to joining the Center, he held numerous management positions at GE
Transportation Systems including Supply Chain E-Business Leader, Inventory
Control Manager, Manager of Flow Manufacturing, Manager of Manufacturing and
Sourcing Systems, and ERP Implementation Program Manager. He holds a Master's
degree in Business Administration from Gannon University and is also Certified
in Production and Inventory Management (C.P.I.M).
Frank has presented numerous papers at both regional and national conferences.
Topics have included Supply Chain e-Business, Flow Manufacturing, Product Cycle
Time Reduction, ERP implementation strategy, and MRP performance. In 2002, he
hosted a "Reverse Auction" conference that featured nationwide expert speakers.
Frank is currently on the board of directors of the Technology Council of
Northwest Pennsylvania and he also holds 2 Business method patents.

Kathy Smith
Special Assistant for Customer Support
Office of the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Supply Chain
Integration (ADUSD SCI)
Kathy Smith is the Special Assistant for Customer Support in the Office of the
Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense, Supply Chain Integration within
the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Logistics and Materiel
Readiness). In this capacity, she works with the Combatant Commands, Military
Services and Defense Agencies to ensure that DoD’s supply chain management
policies and process improvement efforts support the warfighters’ operational
requirements in the 21st century. She is responsible for the development of
policies in support of End-to-End Customer Support and its impact on DoD
materiel management, distribution and acquisition logistics programs. Her
current focus is developing policy for implementing Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) technology in the DoD supply chain. She assumed her
current position in July of 1997.
Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Smith was a Program Analyst with
the Defense Information Systems Agency from October 1995-July 1997, where she
managed the budgeting, development and implementation of systems support
analysis for the logistics business area. Prior to that, she was a logistics
management analyst with the Office of the Logistics Business Systems and
Technology Development in the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense
(Logistics) from 1991 to 1995. In this capacity, she was a key manager of the
Department of Defense initiative to reengineer and modernize the Department’s
logistics business systems. Ms. Smith played a critical role in guiding the
direction of the modernization of the requirements process and development of
the material management system.
From 1987 through 1991, Ms. Smith was a supply systems analyst with
Headquarters, Defense Logistics Agency, where she managed the Agency’s system
requirements efforts and supported the operations center during Operation
Desert Shield/Desert Storm. From 1981 to 1987, Ms. Smith held numerous
positions with Defense Supply Center, Columbus Ohio.
Ms. Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University,
State College, Pennsylvania in 1979 and a master's degree in National Security
Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in 2001.

Daniel P. Mullen
President
AIM Global
Since September 2003, Mr. Mullen has been President of AIM Global, the trade
association for Automatic Identification and Mobility. As an industry advocate,
Mr. Mullen strives to present a balanced view of the technologies - including
their strengths and limitations. He has appeared on CNN and been interviewed by
many local, national and international media outlets, including BusinessWeek
and Fortune, addressing bar code, radio frequency identification (RFID) and
many other AIM technology topics. Prior to this leadership position Mullen, as
VP Operations, managed all marketing, finance and membership development
aspects of the Association.
Previously, Mr. Mullen served as the Vice President of Technology. In this role
he managed the development of industry and national standards efforts. He was
the industry's primary liaison with national standards setting organizations
such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Mullen serves as
Chairman of AIM ADC1, the U.S. Technical Advisory Group for ISO/IEC SC31, and
the international standards committee for Automatic Identification and Data
Capture. Under his guidance, AIM symbology standards have moved from industry
documents to internationally accepted specifications.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in electrical
engineering, Mr. Mullen has also earned an MBA from Duquesne University.

Denton Clark
AIT Manager
Lockheed Martin
Denton Clark, an AIT Manager, is the Automated Identification and Data Capture
(AIDC) Integrated Process Team (IPT) lead, for Lockheed Martin Corporation. In
this position, Mr. Clark has the overall responsibility for supporting the AIDC
development and implementation efforts across the Corporation. This includes a
broad range of ongoing and prospective activities including ensuring the DoD
Passive RFID Policy is compliantly implemented as well as integrating AIDC
technologies horizontally across the corporation. In addition, Mr. Clark is
responsible for assisting existing and prospective programs in evaluating and
implementing AIDC technologies as a supply chain transformation tool. Denton's
team has been working closely with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and
the Defense Logistics Agency in the development and implementation of Passive
RFID technology in compliance with the Department of Defense's Passive RFID
initiative.

Edwin R. Matthews
Director of IT
Americas Amer Sports North America
Amer Sports is the world’s leading sports equipment company and includes major
brands such as Salomon, Wilson, Precor, Atomic and Suunto. Ed Matthews will
present how Amer Sports is utilizing RFID technology in its Wilson brand of
sporting goods in support of Wal-Mart’s RFID initiative. Matthews will discuss
implementation strategy, project plans, lessons learned, and realized benefits.

Michele Southall
Director of Community Development
EPCglobal North America
As Director of Community Development, Michele Southall works with EPCglobal
Subscribers to define best business practices for EPCglobal standards based
solutions.
Prior to joining EPCglobal North America in late 2003, Ms. Southall was a
Global Standards Director for GS1 US, where she was responsible for the
development of standards for the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN).
She also previously held the position of Product Manager for EC Standards
Compliance for 1SYNC, (then known as UCCnet), a not-for-profit subsidiary of
GS1 US that provides product registry and data synchronization services.
Before joining the GS1 US family, Ms. Southall managed Electronic Data
Interchange (EDI) implementation and testing for Southern Wine & Spirits
and developed and maintained financial software applications for Abbott
Laboratories.
